Looking for a how to on Front bumpers
Are there any good write ups on how to get started on building a front bumper?
I don't know many Yota guys to look at their trucks.. so I am looking for how to get started to fab up a front bumper to bolt on.
Thank for any info.

Do you own a welder? A grinder? A drill? C-clamps? Jack stands? Pencil and paper?
Then you got the necessary tools to get started...and now you need to use the "search" feature and/or
to find some front bumpers you want to copy.
Otherwise the only tool you will need is a credit card.

Just look around at what everyone else has built, pay close attn to the design and how they attach everything together. Also keep in mind anything you might want to add in the future - winch, lights, antenna, hi-lift or shovel mounts, etc
Whenever I built any of my bumpers I started by making the mounting plates and bolting them onto the truck, from there I'd build it using the truck itself as the jig

Here is how I mounted a front bumper on my '85:

Only 4 bolts up front on the '84/'85 frame, I tied in with the tow hook mounting bolt holes under the frame and then added a pair of 3/4" bolts in through sleeves in the front body mount brackets. Has worked flawlessly for over 10 years.
