Nice sliders! I like the hybrid design. That's how I'm doing my next set of sliders.

I know it's too late for you, but one thing I did was mount the square tube real close to the pinch weld so that as the sliders deflect upward, the pinch weld will take some of the stress. I put some cut in half fuel line tubing on the pinch weld to prevent squeaking.

Ah good idea, I just notched my pinch weld and will add some rubber to the tube

Yea when i was researching sliders I read that on 4crawlers site , he talked about that, but i chose just to put them a bit away from the seam .

had my son primer these yesterday while i was doing some welding and had him paint them today while i was at work ..

he did ok a couple small runs but its all good ..

Very nice to see that your son has taken an interest in your truck. I wish mine did. He's 20 now and still don't care about my truck! I guess he's not going to get it when it's time for me to hang up the keys, my daughter will!!! Hopefully one day he will be a Fire Fighter.
