Herculine bumpers/sliders?
#2
Thats what I did to mine. Its works really well. Any time you get them scratched up, just touch it up with a brush or sponge. Cool part is you dont have deal with overspray and it's nice not having to worry about messing up an expensive powder-coat. The texture comes in handy when climbing to get to a roof rack or working in the engine bay.
The only real negative aspect is the fact you cant really get them clean. A little armor all makes them shine but it makes them super slick and the shine doesn't last long.
Front bumper and Sliders
Bashing the rear bumper at Big Bear (can't even notice that damage now after a quick touch-up).

I also have the All Pro sliders. I used Rustoleum semigloss black on the sliders. It's easy to touch up but you can see where it was previously scratched under the paint. I didn't want to use something bumpy/rubbery like bed liner because it would be hard to clean like Phalanx said. Although it looks pretty cool on his rig!

re
i did that to mine too but i mixed in some sand it helps a little bit when they are wet ( not that slippy) but after 2 winters some rust is starting to come out, but a can of wal-mart 96 cent can of black spray paint takes care of the problem.
