Just curious why the corner pieces are bigger>
Is there a size to the mesh you used and would you go heavier if you did it again. I am going to add this to my list of projects
It would be easy to build a dump bed on a truck that small I don`t know if it would be cost effective

Corner pieces are bigger because I cut one 45 instead of two 22.5's. I used 1/8 40% open area on that one. I the flatbed I stole extra skidder expanded metal which is 1/4 and there is no way anything will break through that. Ok your turn, how would I make my bed dump?

Depends if you want a full time dump truck or just part time.
Full time you just modify your bed or replace with a dump bed with all the hydraulics etc.
Part time build a self contained unit that slides into your existing bed and connect your hydraulics.
Years ago we powered one with a power steering pump
As I said Cost effective in the long run it would be cheaper in materials and time to get a used one ton dual wheeled dump truck which from the start would handle more weight.
Easy to do is not always cheap to do.
if you want more details feel free to PM me
