Full width or not?

Full width or not?
Ok so I am starting to gather the parts for my SAS, although I need some advise from all of you guys. I am putting a dana 44 in the front which came out of a k-5 blazer, my original plan was to put this in front and shorten it a little so that it would fit with the IFS 8" rear. My buddy went to 3/4 ton axels on the blazer and has a rear as well. I could get the front dana 44 for $65 or he said he would give me both front and rear dana 44's for $100, so I am kinda stuck because this is such a steal.
So I wanted to know what you all thought, this would go on a 89 extra cab PU with a 3.0, 5 speed,
the plan would be waggy's up front with chevies in rear running 35"x12.5" BFG mud terrains
Now I live in Montana and alot of the trails here are old logging roads which can get narrow at places, but there is also some rock crawling around too, this truck would be a DD as well, I what something I could drive to the trails. SO should I keep the IFS rear and narrow the front or go to full width?
Thanks for the input

those axles out of that blazer are most likely 10 bolts with a front pass drop but are pretty much the same thing as 44s as far as strength is concerned, though some chevys did have 44 fronts as well, check the ring gears and they should tell u, and with 35's you should be alright with aftermarket axles, sounds like a good deal to me for $100 im doing a full width 60 and 14bolt rear, full width is nice but its one of those things that can hurt u in tight places at the same time, i say do it, just remember u can go down in width but u can go back, i would also do some more research as well
