Yeah, I'm running hydro assist. It's very nice to be able to steer one handed in the rocks all day

Once the sheetmetal on this thing is completely toast and I'm ready to turn it into a buggy, I might look at running full width 1 ton axles. Until then, I'm planning on sticking with the Toyota axles.

I was hoping to make it though Liberty fairly quickly and then make a pass at Patriot. With the breakage we had, it slowed us down and I didn't want to drop into Patriot at 7:30 pm

That's what rock lights are for.

I understand that, I've been on a couple runs that went from a three hour tour to a twelve hour winch/wrench/pull fest. It gets even more interesting when it's dark.

thanks man, ya there is not very many people on yota tech (that I have seen) that live around here. I was talking about that white 3rd gen on page 4 it is SAS on 36inch IROKs I am trying to research and find out what options there are for them. My wife and I are thinking about starting a fam here in the next little while and a 85 ext cab isnt a family oriented wheelin rig. So any 3rd gen SAS threads you know of, if you could point me in that direction would be great! Thanks
