What are you running for a shackle in the back? You could possibly put a longer shackle in if you needed more height after that.
You are going to have to do something about that front shackle angle, that is horrible. Maybe you can make some sort of a new shackle hanger farther forwards or something. Otherwise, sell those TG springs, build yourself some rears up front out of 51" yota rears and that should give you enough length to get your shackle right and keep the axle forwards.
I agree that you may need some trimming, it isn't the regular driving that will be a problem it will be when you are flexed...otherwise perhaps some bumpstoppage is in order.
Thanks for your input. What is an AAL? Plan is to lower the front so I can get the blocks out completely and yes, the shackle angle sucks. I'm going to try 4.5" shackles in the front and it also might give me some angle on it as a side benefit. Should have bumpstops on in the next couple of weeks.

I gave up caring what the neighbors thought along time ago...........Besides I was the first to build here, so the can kiss my arse!!

Here is my other rig that they have to look at constantly.
Yeah!!! Me too I got the free W/D too cause I was one of the 1st 5 houses built. I love having the only 1 story house on a large lot. Anyway, I'm sure my neighbors also love my 2.5" highflow exhaust and I can't wait to see their faces when I bring the runner home from its SAS. All they know is it was being loaded up on a trailer and was driven away. Another thing I know they love is the 3 colors of mud I usually end up with that I leave on it for like a week. Anyway nice trucks.

Dude, shackle length is not going to help the front angle. You need longer springs, or the hanger has to be moved.

Yep!! That front angle has to kill any flex...

I would look at a rear AAL, LONG.. and loosing the blocks with whatever shacke leanght it take...

Exactly.

For the AAL, look for a long AAL that gives about 2" of lift, it will really help you out and it will flex better. With that overload in there, I bet your tire won't stuff well at all.

I'll look into the AAL, definatly a better option than the block. But as stated earlier the plan is for the block to come out if/when I get the front to lower. I have flexed it out on a dirt mount from a house being built with no front DS and it has alot of flex. I'll take some pics of it flexed before and after. Thanks for the input.

Here are some flex pics taken behind a neighbors house, we don't have any hills around here

Not much room around the tire

Good job on your build. As other have posted, those front shackles look pretty rough. Glad you are taking care of it. I noticed in the 3rd pic you're still missing your front D-shaft, gonna get a long travel slip yoke?

Good job.

Looks pretty good, with a propper shackle angle up fron you could get that front to drop a lot further... and if you remove the 3" block in the rear your going to need bumpstops for sure... But bumpstops are a good thing as they actually help flex. It also looks like your shocks are limiting the rear drown travel....

Good point on the shocks limiting travel. I'll check that next time, but I'm fairly sure they aren't. I hope when I remove the blocks they don't bottom out.

If shocks are your limiting factor the tire should end up in the same location, with or with/out block..

I love that front invisa-shaft. How much it cost you? In all seriousness, that is an awesome 4Runner and I would try something similar if I had the money.

here is a shot of the rear spring compressed, looks bottomed out to me. Hell...... it might be bottomed out too. I need to run the numbers on the shocks.

Can't locate 2.5" sq. tube so no DS yet, can't wait to see what it will do with one

I know most /\ setups have a little steeper angle on them.. I use 13" travel ranchos and have never bottomed out or compressed all the way... But my springs are too stiff and they were the limiting factor on droop...

best one I could find...

I'm not really building the ultimate rock crawler....just want to be able to go just about anywhere I want, so if it doesn't flex out completely than that's OK with me. My old 85 had alot less flex than this and it went everywhere I pointed it.

Wow I havent been around this board in a long time. Its nice to see your truck is evolving. From one big 2nd gen runner to another. Are you having issues with axle wrap? I sure am!!

I can only speculate that I will have major axle wrap as it sits today (3" blocks) Trying to get em out of there!! 4rnr.......What set up do you have?

Why not build a trackbar? This is what I have for my rear setup. Works very well in getting the torque to the ground.....
