90 4runner SAS W/37's
Here is my 90 4runner with a fresh SAS. I was having alot of trouble figuring out if I should us coils in the rear but in the end I decided to ditch em and go with chevies. I started this project the weekend before christmas and just finished it last sunday. I still need bump stops, need to route ARB lines and bumpstops.

I'm taking out the body lift and might have to upgrade to that size. Looks great. Looks like you have some fender trimming in your future though. |
Nice! I wonder what your neighbors think?

85badger how much lift did you get from the chevies (63" I assume)? also how did you position the hangers, I mean what were your measurements and where did you measure from? and how did you mount your shocks and spring perches to the axle?
Because I have all the stuff to do this mod I just want to make sure that i do it right the first time your help is greatly appreciated! |

Because I have all the stuff to do this mod I just want to make sure that i do it right the first time your help is greatly appreciated! Well the chevy's (63") really didn't give me much lift at all. To get the rear to match the front's hieght I had to put 3" blocks between the axle and the springs. Not the best solution but I'm hoping the front will settle so I can take out the blocks or get shorter ones. Measurements........for some reason there isn't a very good place to measure from to mount the front spring hanger (rear springs) I actually measured 1" forward from the little drain holes in the bottom of the frame. I'll take some pics of the shock hanger and perches that we fabbed up. I'll post them tommorow. |
Good deal thanks for the help bro. can't wait to see the pics

How long are the rear shocks and can we get some pics showing how much they're angled in at the top?
