3.0 true duals
Heys guys I am planning to do the crossover removal mod except I want to just go with true duals. I plan on adding another high flow cat and muffler and dumping it over the rear axle. What size tubing should I use to do this? Is there anything else I should consider? Thanks

for what is essentially 3 cylinders at 1.5L displacement (true duals, exhaust for each bank of cylinders), 2.25" is too large. I'd run maximum 2" which is optimal flow for that displacement in a truck like this.

on my crossover elimination/ Y-pipe mod i used 2.25" pipe from both manifolds and 2.5" from the Y back and it runs like a top. i have duals but they're from a single inlet muffler and dual exit

A Xover/exhaust balance tube, before mufflers will help smooth the powerband.
2" should work great. To big and you lose velocity, not good. You want the exhaust hot til the exhaust tip. I'm a fan of flowmasters mufflers, the new hush series is pretty nice.
