Haven't been able to find anyone making these so I went ahead and fabbed some up myself from 3/16"x1" cold rolled bar. I couldn't make the correct bends on my vise so I welded them together.


The ~45deg bend was needed to cleared the back corners of the hood while opening and I wish I had pulled the hood when installing cause I scratched the crap out of them.


They're damn rock solid but kind of a pain to install, required some cutting on the wiper valance and longer bolts.


Otherwise I'm 100% satisfied. (Please excuse my $30 pods...)

 

Cool. How much glare do you get off the hood?

 

Really not much, these are spots so the beam isn't super wide. I also doesn't hurt that my paint is pretty well faded so theres not much if any gloss.
