1st gen runner 4 link

Hey so I'm planing on build my own 4 link set up for my 86 4 runner. I've got the fabrication skills so that's not a problem. And I've been trying to do a ton of research and for the most part I've got it figured out.
Really the only thing I can't figure out from all the research I've been doing is what determines the ride height when you link a rig?
I've ran across a few websites that lay everything out for you and nice and simple but not one of them explain what to do or tell you what determines right height.
And I really don't want my rear end sitting lower than my front
If anyone's got any info on this please help me understand this

Front or Rear?

Is this for the front or rear?

RuffStuffspecialties.com

Awesome products and cheap too. We use them alot for our business. They have a specific kit for the rear of the Toyota.

Then run a coil-over in the back. It is then adjustable.

Thanks man. I haven't ran across them yet. But for a complete kit that's just a little over what I would have payed to build my own

They are great people.

They will work with you too if you need something different. Have you looked at FOA shocks yet?

Yea I've only looked at fox shocks on the trailgear web site but I haven't looked at shocks to much yet because I've just been more focused on trying to get the geometry figured out so I could understand how the link set up works before I start actually building and buying parts

Would you suggest fox shocks? Over others?

Foa!

They are their own shock.

FOX are over priced and rely on their name. I use FOA and haven't had any problems. Coil-over is the way to go. You don't need a reservoir either unless you are desert racing.
