i was just pondering the idea of doing something like down the road and i was searching the internet i found this forum and a guy who converted his 93 pickup to a 4runner! very well written and lots of pictures too so i figured id share with yotatech. lets discuss...

cool idea, i think i would stll rather have my truck and buy 4 runner to build tho, seems like you would be way ahead of the game buyin a 1 st gen runner, not taking anything away from that guys work tho

yeah im with him on the trekker! love the first gens, but that way he did that was pretty cool with moveing the axle back, still needs a hardtop!

i just like the idea of having a 3rd gen. pickup body style with a removable hard top. that would be pretty sweet, mostly in the summers. its like having a jeep but its not a pile of crap.lol the trekker would be awesome too.

Yeah I thought about that with my first gen especially after I picked up a camper shell for it. I have got to bob the bed to fit the shell so why not go ahead and conect the bed and cab cut the floor out and add a jeep rear bench? I like that Idea!
