UPDATE: removed fender flares, i think it looks so much better!

also just recently i got the most stuck i probably ever will be. the winch cable snapped and i had to leave it there in 3 feet of snow overnight with heavy snow still falling. heres some pics

this was the next morning

after 7 hours of digging we got it out of there. any more snow and i probably would have had to leave it til spring

So yesterday I was looking under my rig and I stumbled across this

the drivers side end link on the sway bar snapped, I never felt any difference in driving and have no idea when it happened, so I figured I would rip the whole thing out
here it is in all its broken glory

for any of you thinking about taking this off, from what I have experienced in one day of driving without the sway bar, it really isnt bad at all. I got up to 75 mph and made a few quick lane changes and it didnt feel much different than it did before. As far as flex, I really didnt see much of a difference, maybe only an inch or so. but that can make all the difference between the rig being on its wheels and being on its side

Its finally here!!

it goes in first thing in the morning! I think I may be one of the first ones on this site to put in an aussie locker on a 3rd gen 4runner

Been very busy the last 3 months. Ive finally gotten the chance to go on several different trips and meet many of you fellow yotatechers. Several changes have happened withe the 4runner as well:
-Flopped on some hurculiner on the sliders
-Moved CB mount to the back above the tail light
-Did the end cap mod as well as raising the ARB up an inch to match the body lift
-Got me some KM2's
Heres some pics of events Ive been to over the summer
Squaw ridge

Pismo Jamboree

I met a guy in one of my classes who wants to build me a tire carrier bumper to advertise for his offroad fab buisness he's starting. Ive seen his work on a cherokee, it is phenomenal. we'll see what happens

For now on I'm gonna post everything to my build thread. No point in keeping 2 of these threads going...
