Talking Sliders are done.




Then it was WAY to hot to worry about taking pics and a couple of hours later:





Its all mild steel .120 wall. Except for the one inch pieces that hold the outer bar which are 1 inch chromoly. 66 inches long main tube. Legs were 8 inches before I coped them. 3/8 plate? I can't remember on the plate.
Most of it was done from scrap metal. I tacked it all together and I had some great welder help me finish. Cost me almost nothing.

when do you reckon we can get back down to the old publo to make me a fancy pair like that? I'm torn between your style (and price) and the Vigilantes (quick release would nice around town)

I like the look of them. They cover some of the crap that the floor boards used to cover. Its going to be after baja, but we will find a good time to go. Now I know what I'm doing even more.
He is now out of tubing so we should bring some more.

Great job. Cool kickout design.

Guessing that final rock on 404 won't be nearly as challenging next time, even if it is in the dark.
