need advice

hey guys, i could use some advice on what to do with my truck.

i have just about all the parts(minus chevy springs, gotta get down to the junkyard and get some) to do sas, and rear lift for my 86 pickup. I have a wirefed welder that does great for body work, but i wouldnt even think about doing suspension/real welding on my truck with it.

My front end is in bad condition, and either needs to be rebuilt soon, or sas'ed and be done with it.

I would like to do the swap myself, but have someone else do the welding that is needed. what would you guys do? know anyone local that could do the welding?

I 2nd Schaefer.

By the way, he can weld all the SAS parts onto your truck before you even touch any of the IFS. So you can drive to him and then drive away.... then start the swap when you are ready.

Are you planning on using Chevy springs for the front? Generally those are used in the back, but I suppose anything is possible.

3rd vote for having Steve take care of the welding for the SAS.
