Mtn Bic'n
If anyone ever wants to ride I park at 40th street just south of Shea and ride for an hour and a half or so a couple of time a week.
I am happy to ride at an easy pace punctuated by some high speed bursts or all out if thats how you ride.
No one is too slow or too fast. Come on down!

I would, but I gotta get a bike first. I left my last down in Tucson. I'm pretty sure it's a mess if it's still around.
Maybe I'll look around at some pawn shops next week. With the students leaving town, I'm sure they've gotten rid of some decent bikes.

Tim, is that a trail or street? I haven't ridden regularly in years and need to build up stamina again.
BTW, how do you like your XR? I've been thinking of picking one up. Found an 06 650r with electric start, desert tank and a bunch of other goodies for under 5k.

Trail.
If its an xr650r it shouldn't have an electric start.
I love it. The old joke with the xr's is that you can push them off a cliff and they'll maintanence themselves on the way down. I've had the more high performance bikes (yz426), but nothing stays cool, runs forever, and runs off crappy gas like the 90's technology of an XR. Oh, and I need to change my sig, I sold my xr to my buddy and now have just an xr400. LOVE IT!

ELVOTA!
Let me know when you are going to do some of that fancy Ur Bane or Down Hill riding.
I am dying to get a new bike together. Something in the middle of the road like an ellsworth id except cheaper! soooooo maybe a kona or santa cruz. With one of those I'd love to try some mild down hill.

I'll keep you in the loop. I just got another "big bike"... forgot how much fun they are and what they can handle.
The GF and I were planning a 2 week adventure through Whistler starting today... but she hurt her ankle, so we had to cancel.
I want to hit Sunrise soon, possibly next weekend. It's the only chair assist riding in the state with some pretty good trails.
Maybe we can get a few YT'rs who like the 2 wheel action together for some runs or urban. There is a few spots around town with some stunts and jumps. Just have to find ways to beat the heat.

I'm down to ride anytime! I have steered away from the Big Hit bikes, and crazy downhill days of college. But I still race the AZ points series and ride several times a week.
...no pictures of the bike sitting still...

Yeah, it's called chain suck. And it sucks. If you can determine where it is happening (either front derailure or back, and if it's getting sucked to the inside or outside), then just adjust your derailure to stop it from happening. Pretty easy fix if you know the basics of derailures, or a quick fix at a bike shop. But get it done, or you'll break that chain and rack your junk against the stem...no bueno.

Well I might not be as fast as you, but let me know if you want to ride sometime. I hurt by knee last weekend on my dirt bike so both it and the mountain bike need to sit for a couple of weeks while I see if I can heel!
Hopefully nothing is torn. Yeah for MCL injuries!

Again, lol you guys put my bike to shame.
Just had it in to a local bike to have that problem with my chain fixed (again). Well it's still happening. Took it out yesterday and it bound up on me again and just completely slipped off at one point.
You guys are differently faster than me. I felt like I was carrying an extra 10 pounds yesterday and it sucked (slowed me way down). The trail; that I hit up wasn't even that difficult.

Looks like we need to get the YotaBike ride going on!
I don't know if you guys have light sets, but there is a Full Moon ride up at Pemberton trail again on Saturday Aug. 24th. There are normally around 150 riders up there for it. Starts at 7:30pm and goes until the beers all gone. I ride with Missing Link Racing a local team. We don't take anything to serious, so your welcome to come on any organized rides we go on. There are two rides a week going this time of year, both of which are night rides. If your interested let me know. Or if we want to get a small group of YotaTech guys together we can do that too.

Hey Tim,
I have two really high end lights. If you haven't rounded one up by the next Full Moon Ride, you are more than welcome to strap one of my on your head or handle bars! The beers are on your tab for the rental.
