I am starting a teardown on the front end of my truck tomorrow.

Going to install new rotors and pads
lube or replace front wheel bearings/seals
replace the passenger CV joint.


I have a good set of tools, hands to help etc....

but I really need to borrow a 54mm socket, and a pull scale if possible.

If anyone can loan the above out for this weekend, possibly through next weekend I would be very appreciative. Short notice I know, but I thought I would ask before I bite the bullet and shell out more cash at sears.

upon further thought I would need it through next weekend....I'll get everything set up this weekend and do the job next. I still need to pull the CV's from my wrecked p/u to take in for exchange.

I'll travel to borrow if needed.

I went ahead and ordered one from marlin, I should have one in my tool box anyway.

This weekend was a total bust, looked all around for the socket on Sat, then the washing machine decided to leak all over the floor on Sunday.

Good, because I was thinking I might have to park that tomato in front of the neighbors house or something.
