3rd Annual Toy Run - Yuma
You all are invited if you feel like making the trip (taken from the Yuma4wheelers website). Mark (ttora, 5th pic down)had his tacoma down here last year for the run and ran it with no problems.

THIS IS NOT A BENEFIT FOR "TOYS FOR TOTS"!
The toys we collect will go to the sick and injured children at Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC).
Participants need to donate at least one (1) new, unopened toy. One (1) toy is good for one (1) vehicle. There is no set spending limits. Get what you can afford and remove the price tags.
The run this year will be held at Jackson Gulch.
This trail is extremely difficult for most street legal vehicles. (this is a yuma4wheelers rating, not a lot of us have built up vehicles, only a few do, reason for the rating)
Rig Requirements:
- Minimum of 3" lift and 31" tires.
- Jeeps and small pickups and SUV's will fair better than larger pickups and SUV's. Bring your big Chevy, Dodge or Ford is you got the balls!
- Body damage is highly possible for longer rigs with less than 6" lift.
- If any rig should break down, we will haul it out. Nobody will be left behind.
Run Info:
Meeting Place: West Wetlands Park
Meeting Time: 9:00am Heading to the Trailhead at 9:30am SHARP!
Duration: 5 miles/5 hours if nobody breaks.
Rig Limit: This run is limited to 15 rigs.
If you wish to attend the Jackson Gulch run, ask Bill or Perry for a pass when you drop off the toys. YOU MUST HAVE A PASS TO GO ON THE RUN! NO PASS, NO GO.
If you wish to donate a toy (or toys), but do not want to go on this trail, toys can be dropped at 2 locations.

A little bit of an update - Again, if any of you would like to come please let me know so I can pass it (wishfull thinking I know).
Date: December 6, 2008
Meeting Place: West Wetlands Park
Meeting Time: 9:00am
Trail Name: Jackson Gulch
Trail Rating: Extremely Difficult for street legal 4X4's
Trailhead GPS:
Scenic Rating: 8
Vehicle Restrictions: Minimum of 3" lift, 31" tires
General Terrain: Steep hills, maybe a deep water crossing, large rocks, no by-passes!
Special Attractions: Body damage is likely if you have a longer wheelbase with no armor. Jeep Wranglers and CJ's do well if the driver takes their time. IFS vehicles should not attempt this trail unless they have had extensive modifications done.
This trail is about 5 miles long and takes about 5 hours to complete. If someone breaks down, it will take longer.
Last run through Jackson Gulch we had a guy roll his truck over and it took us 4 hours to get him going again.
Please reply to this post only if you have a question about the trail or the run, or you're going to join us on this run!
