Here are the runs scheduled for this fall. If you are interested in attending and are not on our e-mail list, contact me and I will get you the information. September 8, 2007:
Trail 404 - North Phoenix
This is a hard trail, 2 lockers, bumpers and sliders

September 22, 2007:
Chivo Falls - Tucson
Hard, No Fully Open Diffs and Sliders Required

October 13, 2007
Hackberry Creek/Oak Flats Campground
In the Middle, not really hard, not easy. You better have sliders

November 3, 2007
DeSoto Mine - Mayer
In the Middle, not really hard, not easy. You better have slider

November 24, 2007
Raw Deal/Upper Terminator/Lower Terminator
Raw Deal not bad: Upper Terminator, Rear Locker and Sliders: Lower Terminator Extremely Difficult

December 15, 2007
Martinez Canyon
Hard, No Fully Open Diffs and Sliders Required

Everything is harder than Sunflower, Smiley Face or Red Creek. This group has been wheeling together for 3-4 years now, most of the IFS trucks are gone and everyone pretty much has straight axle trucks. Now that is not to say that your IFS truck is not welcome, it sure is, what I am saying is that it's a great group people that are really into the sport and we all have traded for or swapped to live axle vehicles at this point. We all started out with IFS trucks in the beginning. I went back to one to make it harder again.

Kent and Brian (Tall) are the latest SA converts.

The general route would be considered easier. Advanced route would not be mandatory, but would be fun to watch.

Wormhole... I recall your concerns with brush... so 404 would not be a good choice. But maybe there will be an extra seat if you'd like to ride along.

Understood.

I'm still fairly new this too all of this anyways. If there is ever an open seat and if I can make it over that way I'd love to join you guys.

One day I've my landcruiser that I've always wanted and then I'll be able to join the SAS group (baby steps first though, although maybe I'll build a rally car instead).

In case your wondering Steve I'm still planning to have that locker installed but I have to deal with a health issed that has just recently came up (hernia).

I might take up on that offer one of these times.
Thanks

If my 4runner was white I wouldn't mind the brush so much.

Unfortunately I've got most of those weekends already booked up.

Guess I have a deadline for the diff installs - Sept 22. That weekend was free. Hope to make it.

I would be interested in watching you guys do Chiva (I think it's Chiva not Chivo). I once saw a guy testing Land Rovers out there, I have ridden in an old Land Cruiser there myself. I doubt I would want to bang my 4Runner up just yet. Steve, I am planning on getting that 7.1 installed ASAP, thanks for welding the sliders, they look great!

Hello Arizonians.

I'm planning on trekking down to AZ for the Dec 15 Martinez run.

Going to work with Schaefer to organize and get in a few other trails on some other days.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Cool - you will enjoy Martinez. It is one of the most scenic places in AZ and offers great 4wheeling. You wont be dissapointed...

Keep in mind if you are careful and go down the main obsticle and then out an alternate way this trail is pretty darn easy. I used to do it in my 2wd prerunner all the time in college. My 4runner is pretty stock so if we had to we could break off from the group and go out the easy way. (if we both even make it to the run)

Will be nice to meet you as well. I've enjoyed all the CO trail pics you've posted.

Schaefer has plenty of places to wheel down here. I am sure you can hit something new everyday of your trip if you'd like.

Also sure you'll find more than a few of us will be willing to tag along as well.

Well, I've put in for leave from the 13th-17th.

This leaves the 13th and the 17th as drive days, and the 14th, 15th, and 16th for wheeling.

I hope you can make it too Lance.

I would make the 22 run but I'll be recovering from surgery. So I'll try to make it over there for the october 13th run but I'll probable just ride along with someone if they don't mind.
