Myself, Mike T, A buddie of his and Kent for sure. Tall Brian will be on the way back from Denver with an 1988 SA'd 4Runner so he'll be back in the saddle with a fully built 1st Gen 4Runner.

I will bring my 4Runner to this one since the red truck is being re-painted and it involves an I-10 run. I am still trying to get liability Insurance for the buggy, it's not as easy as you would think.

Busy week at work and no time to install my compressor (although I have some time this evening). I read the trail description above (locker required). I also thought I saw on TTORA that this trail can run without lockers. Is it rougher than the rock garden on Log Corral? Are there bypasses for the crazy stuff? I'd love to see the trail... I have shackles and a decent tow strap. I would have an experience spotter riding shotgun. Verdict?

Verdict is that the Dana 44 1 Ton 4Runner can pull you through what ever you can't make. Come on down and drive it, you'll get help if you need it.

No problems. You guys want to see a straight axled 3rd Gen in action anyways right? Plus the Monster Tacoma will be there, Tow Trucks a plenty.

Sounds like a deal. See you at 8:30. Not familiar with the rest stop but I'll find it (hopefully) CB Channel?

My plans will have me back in Escalante for the week of the 24th... so I'll be missing this one. It's a route I'd like to do in the future though.

Good news about Tall Brian. I have always liked those 1st Gen Runner's.

I wont be making the Chivo run either but get some pics. This weekends weather outlook is promising. Make sure to check out the falls, they may even be flowing w/ the weekends rain forcast.

Good for Brian, it will be good to have him back on the trail. I saw the photos of the rig in the classifieds. looks nice. Now we gotta break in all these 'new' rigs @ FJ.

Sure. I'll drag the buggy out there, I need to go get some more propane.
