Better AZ forum

Is it because it's summer or are there better spots to pick up on AZ news?

I wonder the same thing - where is everyone??!?!

I've trying to get out but no one I know wants to go out. "Its TOO hot!" whatever, my truck is topless and doorless and I want to go out. I try to say "Lets hit up the coves at Butcher Jones and go swimming then" but nothing so far.....

LAME

We did a meet-n-greet a few summers ago and that was fun, but it seems like everyone disapeared after that. I see a few guys around, but not much.

Tucson has TOR (Tucson Off-Road) forums.. Dunno about Phoenix Metro.

Personally I'm not much of a 'wheeler yet 'cause I've got a stock truck and like 5 months driving experience! (I think I handle my rig quite well for only having been behind the wheel 5 months though.)

I hit up butcher jones AT LEAST once a week! Sometimes 3. It'd be nice to go out with another 'yota! Let me know if you're interested sometime! I'm off by 130 everday....weekends are good too.

I'm new to the wheeling thing and have just rebuilt and converted my 22re in my 87 and don't know a whole lot of places to wheel... I did go 3/4 of the way up charlleu gap on my virgin trip, need to try some other "cooler" (and by cooler I mean literally cooler) places!

Looks like its time for a locker for that ride back up!

Kevin - I'll definately hit you up when I get back. I think my first chance at going will be Sunday the 1st, or Sunday the 8th.

I watched a vid of 3rd gen w/ factory rear elocker on the same hills....Oh man I want one! I have to pick my lines fairly carefully to avoid lifting ANY wheels uphill. :-/

Either Sunday sounds good to me!

I miss having an SUV to take a bunch of friends out. I would certainly settle for my truck not being in pieces on my garage floor (engine rebuild).

It's a bunch of fun! Same few hills to tackle each time but many many lines you can try! From easy (2wd CAN do it) to extreme (need major flex and/or locker(s)).

I'm suffering withdraws as my truck is also in pieces!

Hahah I know exactly where that hill is, on the way to the first cove. When you come down go over the next hill next time and then run out to the cove and you'll find this small cleaner cove that I hardly ever see anyone else at. > http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._8111993_n.jpg
