Looks like you need a snorkel and some serious lift to cross the water? I would join you but don't have either a high lift or a snorkel. Have fun! Should be beautiful weather.

nah, I only have 2.5 on my Anthracite truck and no snorkel and it's been through deeper...funny though, the SC'd truck has a snorkel and not a day goes by without someone cracking a joke about "why you need a snorkel in the desert...?" Makes me want to carry a photo album of all the water we find.....lol!

Made it! The road to Verde Hot Springs SUCKS! Even with new 5100's and coils we were bouncing around like mad! Plenty of carnage to see down the sides of the roads...(who drives an Infinity down these kinds of roads?) Great spot, easy water x-ing. No snorkel required!

LOL, I always feel a bit self-conscious because my pic's are huge and I don't want to hijack space here....(more than I already do!) feel free to find me on facebook, (pete dunkelberg) there's tons of trip ideas and pic's there. Just put "yotatech" in the request so I know where you're from!

Pics look like everyone had a great time! Need to get the rig dialed in and do some more wheeling one of these days. Thanks for sharing Punkelberg.

Mucho Fun In AZ

Nice to see what kinda fun I can expect to have! (Hopefully by summer's end)

Just picked up this 86 4x w/ 5spd manual. Runs pretty well but has a few leaks and needs some attention to the suspension and 4x system.

New guy from surprise, just picked up an 87 4runner(87deathtrap's old brown one). In the process of going through everything and making it reliable(axle seals, brakes, tune up, replacing rusted out exhaust, ac serviced).

Not new to wheeling but haven't had anything high enough to go over a speed bump in a few years...

Talking

Thanks punkelberg!

87slosohc - I feel your pain "(axle seals, brakes, tune up, replacing rusted out exhaust, ac serviced)" I also have some nasty leaking, need an alignment and the current tires have some cupping.. But hey- It has AISIN hubs! (just guessing that's a good thing from some of the posts... I don't really know.. LOL) Here's a couple pics:

Wow, cool man! That was a great little truck for me. Please, if you have any questions about anything that I did to it, feel free to hit me up.

Finished up the rear this weekend(new drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, axle seals) need to order a 54mm to do the fronts soon. Also already looking for a sfa...if anyone local has one they're getting rid of.

So, with the holiday weekend coming up - anybody have any plans to do any wheelin??
I'm open to just about anything at this point - most likely on Sunday.

If I don't find anything else better to do, I'll probably head out to Butcher Jones and hang out at the lake all day.

Oh, and 87slosohc - I have one of those 54mm sockets if you want to burrow it something - but I live in Chandler though
