Looks like the plan is to meet up at the Shell gas station in AJ at 10am, top off, and move out from there. Current count is 4 rigs.

Anyone else?

No, sorry. It's the same one that everybody met up at for the Woodpecker run a few weeks ago. There's a map below.

My fault, sorry about that. My local geography sucks. Gold Canyon not A.J.

I DO! (wrong run, but...eh, it's 'Yotas goin' through stuff, right?.)

Ran Bloody Basin to Cave creek via Horseshoe Dam out to Cave Creek.

A few cool water crossings and 80 or-so miles of bumps. Took a buddy with his stock 4wd Tahoe. Had no problems, but the crossing @ Sheeps Bridge made him a bit nervous! (he made it)

Saw an old FJ60 with a flat tire and bad spare. Stopped and plugged him into the ARB compressor to get him home. He followed us out and made it into town.

SuperCharger Burrito!

Had to cross over the dam to get back to pavement....weird! The gate on the other side is locked and you have to call some dude from the emergency phone to open it remotely...FYI!

^Looks like fun.

We had an awesome group of trucks yesterday and everyone breezed through Lower Ajax, so we went ahead and hit Upper as well. Had our share of carnage, but that's what they're built for! Oh yeah, and not a single stuck all day!

Punkelberg I was racing to catch up to you today around Bell and I17! I felt stupid cause I waved but couldn't see anything through both of our dark tint. lol You must live near by because I see your rig around that school on 27th ave. I like the rig

So no internet at the house anymore but I'll try and stay tuned in to YT via my cell phone.

Did a trail near Sedona called Oak Creak Homestead and also Schnebly hill Rd.....Schnebly is now only 4 miles long and quite boring but IT IS BEAUTIFUL.

lol, I saw you at the last minute and waved...my girl said "who was that??" "YOTATECH guy" I replied....kinda funny!

Schnebly Hill can be fun when it's open all the way up. They close it in the winter to keep the tourists from falling off the mountain in the snow.

Next Sedona trip, I'm just going to follow a Pink Jeep to the cool spots on the NW side of town! (I think you have to be slick about it though....apparently that sort of thing is frowned upon!)

At least you got the obligatory "my truck in Red Rocks" shots!

Thanks for coming out! You guys were a great addition to the group. Good luck with the fix, let me know if there's anything that I can do to help you get your rig back on the trail!

It should be a pretty simple fix in theory, I got all the broken stuff cut off and cleaned up. Just need to get some plate and tubing and I'll be ready to rock and roll! After some welding of course, oh and paint

Well, the crossmember for my lower links in the rear decided it was done for the day and broke 3/4 of the way around the passenger side. Noticed it when my driveline dropped out onto the trail . Can't upload any pics :/ I'm on my cell phone, but I got all the carnage cut off and now it's ready for some rebuilding. Hopefully have it done by the end of the week, but it's looking like I might have to tackle it on Sat/ Sun.
