Yeah!....he's alright. Definitely a man among men. I've not worked along side many of his patience and understanding and willingness to help. Definitely a pleasure to work with and for. Funny, he called me right after he left your place. SMALL WORLD for sure.

So when are we gonna do some work for you?

Oh and if the Crown King run next Sunday is an open invitation, I'd like to hit that one too. I've told Brandon about it...maybe he'll finally come out wheel with us.

Angry Bob was the one who got me thinking of Crown King on page 54...but he put a "FWIW" (for what it's worth?) on his post. Not sure if that means open invite...I'd love to have a run up there with some more runners!
So we have 3 for CC then on the 15th (?)and if Angry Bob wants more company....even better!

Yeah. Open invite for sure. I think there are 3 or 4 of us so far. We usually meet at the dirt road around 8am. With some folks maybe coming from a distance that can change.

I don't know if I'll be solo or with family but all are welcome. If I'm solo, an all day option would be to run CK up and DeSoto Mine down which ends in Cleator - half way down the front way from CK to I-17.

Heh - FWIW *is* For What Its Worth.

Can't go tomorrow. Got all my parts and everything installed, but no time for alignment and just planned to chill out anyway with CK next wknd.

 

From Tucson az, anyone else from Tucson? New to the whole 4wd scene.

 

So I had a blast with everyone who ran with us on Sunday and I'm glad most everyone made it through unscathed. Save for a coil spring not wanting to stay seated and a rock that just couldn't resist taking a swipe at GliderAz's (Bryan) passenger front tire.

Now I'm a firm believer in this next statement...Pics OR it didn't happen...why aren't there any pics up? I know ya'll were taking em'....let's see some. And no, I didn't take but just one...and its not that great.

No, I was leaking gas and that's the excuse I'm going to use until next time definitely going to get it next time, saw an IFS make it thru on YouTube, now I can't pass it up! Might get to trailer it out next time so I'm hoping to get some hard lines

 

Sounds like a valid excuse. We ended up coming back and running Woodpecker after Upper Ajax. One truck made it through the Firehole, the other fell in!

It's been forever since I've been up there but I'm pretty sure I know the way haha

 

That's when I'm planning on....drive Castle Hot Springs....(or is it Cow Creek?) until I see 'Yotas! Bringing one kiddo, one Fiance and one Black Lab!

 

That's the plan. Castle hot springs at 8am. From 74 take CHS north until it ends and turn left - right is a park entrance. We park off to the side of the road within a mile of there to air down and collect. 3 of us so far excluding YT guys. Is 8:30 better? I will likely have the wife and 2 kids along for the ride.

ok i found a 97 runner 5speed on cl for 2950 im gonna go look at it sat. the owner says it has 200k miles on it! my question is(before i drive to bell and 21st) hows your 3.4 doin at 200k
