thats eagle ridge. getting in requires some clearance, as last summer we tried to get a 4th gen runner in, but he had running boards so you might be OK.

the powerline trail is the easiest..nothing too hard core. just dirt road with hills n bumps. the bypass (where all the forest is) is a bit more difficult, and would recommend at least all terrain tires, and sliders if youre worried about your rockers. its tight in there...so i wouldnt recommend putting your spanking new 4th gen in there...

interested in some sliders? i've got a line on some nice ones..kinda like the ones allprooffroad.com has...

thanks for the advice and the offer doubledown... yeah , i saw on the forum, that 4th gen bend his runningboard, he bend it on rock at the enterance of eagle ridge , right? just wanna make sure so i can be more careful on it. i guess i 'll stick to the powerline route. also i have all the tools and i have spotter too , just in case im stuck. For grimace, maybe someday we can hang out and do some wheeling or camp, fishing this summer. cant wait to see other 4th gen runner. is there any more 4th gen beside us, grimace?

Been trying to search everywhere on how to get to this trail. Can someone tell me how to get there? I live near Lougheed Mall on the Burnaby/Coquitlam border.

eagle mountain is a GREAT trail, I live in Port Coquitlam and have been to the top of Eagle numerous times! Gotta have a key to get through the gate, it costs $50 at the Coquitlam City Hall.
Ton's of trails up there that require some good driving and judgement.

DONT GO ALONE!!

Yes, Eagle is not a trail to do alone although I have done a quick burn to the bridge and back in a pinch. Dry weather is best, But not as much fun. We have rescued a few from the trail in the passed few years. Last weekend had a flop over at East lookout.
My last run up Eagle took us all night we hit every trail, beat the $#!? Out of my rig and got my first VI 3 blocks from home. That has just opened my schedule for finishing the build on the 85 ( 4" susp, 2" body lift, bob'd, full exo, raised fuel tank above frame rails, locked front & rear, 4:88 , duel T cases, 22re w/cam, 4 link in rear.)
