Weather.com shows maybe a 30% chance of rain in the Harrisonburg area in the afternoon. Even if we get alittle wet, it'll help keep down the dust.

I was at the Sheetz at 1040, where was everyone else? I also tried calling on ch. 4 & 34, no response. I went and ran some trails by myself, and didn't hear any chatter on either channel.

Perhaps next weekend or the weekend of Oct. 7th we can get together.
Next time I will pm you my cell number too. Plus, I need a CB, but Matt couldn't pick anything up

I felt bad we didn't meet up. Whenever I got service on my cellphone I tried to call. Well the weather didn't quite cooperate. At some parts the fog was so thick you couldn't see 50 feet in front.
Rich,
you must have just missed us. We waited until just passs 10:30 and then headed out.

I'm glad you guys found some trails. Nice pics, looks like you had fun too. Since we haven't had much rain lately, every stream crossing we encountered was all rocks and no water.

I must have just missed both groups since I got there at about 1040 and left around 1115. I did hear some people on ch. 4 and even called out but no reply back. I didn't find any water, but I did see a lot of hunters up there with their dogs.
I went up FR 72 to the junction of Second Mountain and then played around up there for a while. Went home via FR 87 which eventually took me back to Rt. 11 north of Harrisonburg. I had fun even though I was solo.
My truck started acting up on the way back, massive fuel starvation issues. Been out working on it and I think it's something to do with the electric choke on the carb. Crappy reman Ford carb, going to go with a Holley next time.
