I'll keep the topic going for a while longer. I posted my rebuttle to his antics.
http://www.1-2-free-forums.com/mf/ni...ost-94.html#94

I would like real explainations as he continues to pass blame to others, but it's obvious he's always right and everyone else is wrong. I must have pissed him off by posting the earlier posts, but I got his attention. When he speaks of 'management, who else could there be? I never spoke to anyone else but him and each time it was being shipped tomorrow and then tomorrow and then ... 85 days for 2 spacers and a bracket.

I'll post pics of the bracket too (later this week) as it's design sounds like it might belong to someone else.

Can you explain the 85 days it took to deliver the two top spacers?

Can you explain the dozens of email with various excuses as to why it's taking you so long to do anything, especially since these were full steam ahead from day one?

Can you explain how your neighbour, who you said wasn't your girlfriend, can somehow login using your hotmail account and send me email? You know the email I refer to ... when you were suddenly carted off to the hospital only to be chatting on AOL at the same time?

Can you then explain how your partner Ryan Cloud didn't really know what was going on with my kit, even though you kept writing that you had told him/them what to do and what to ship to me? Is that what you describe above as 'management' problems?

About the defective spacer ... do you recall me telling you that it was better if you called Wheelers about the spacer as I've never seen them as they were sent directly to you? That I know nothing about this stuff and was relying on your expertise. That it was you're call on how to proceed?

What I recall, when you called me back, was like you said above ... that there were no holes punched in the spacer. Did that mean much to me at the time? No. As you confirmed, I know f'all about this OOPS and put my trust in you. Yet, what I have a hard time understanding (today) after eventually seeing the product(s), is why you made the decision to bore holes or whatever you did into the Daystar and then glue this contraption together?!?

While someone (Wheelers/Daystar) might have said that it's not a problem, If I would have understood what you were talking about, I would have sent the bad one back. Again, I never saw the goods till 85 days later. I can't return the spacer today, can I? Why can't I, someone may ask. It has holes bored into it. When I return home later this week, I'll tear it apart to get a better understanding of your efforts and, as I said on YT, I'll post your workmanship and solicit other opinions.

As a side bar, I would like to see pics of the scars that must be across your head. Man, I'm still amazed at how fast you recovered. Almost as fast as that incident occurred.

If I've been appearing to be pissed off, Man you better believe it. After waiting like a puppy for 85 days only to be told by a local mechanic that the stuff can't be used ... well, I waited ... and waited ... and waited. I bit my tongue hard and continued to wait. Then others began to write of your expertise. Other posted pics of your workmanship. HEY! I wasn't the only poor SOB that made a mistake and it was time to tell my story.

If you would have told me UP FRONT that you were having mfgr'ing problems or that you weren't quite ready to proceed, that would have been a different story and I would let it lie. But after several months of looking at this 'kit' and reading several others with different 'stories', well ... it's easy to finally realize who I was dealing with.

Oh, BTW ... can you explain the BS about you're brain operation? Man, that must be a nasty scar on your forehead. Where's the pics of the carnage? How about a hospital receipt for the numerous visits and stays? According to people that have since been face to face with you, you must have had plastic surgery as there are NO SCARS. You have to post the name of the crew that patched you up cause those scars healed what ... in a matter of days? Give me a break!

Back to you Pinocchio.

You're pathetic, Dude. What was false Bro? Off topic?!?

Each time you do something stupid like this, you add another layer of dirt to your name. Again I offer you opportunity to explain your management decisions, and you chose to try and hide my claims. When will you wake up? This in the INTERNET! You can't bury this ˟˟˟˟˟. It's here for life, Man!

It is getting to the point of being complete absurd. If somebody has the time, please compile a list of all the lies, product defects, photoshops, unethicl practices and attach the relevant proof, pictures, etc. Then it can just be stickied on every Toyota, 4x4, Nissan forum on the internet for all to see. He has chosen to play stupid games on his pathetic forum, refused to come clean and is dragging all his friends into his hole. All we can do is expose it for the world to see, so a nice little package will work real well.

WIth all the hoopla, I have yet to see decent product to appear. He has taken other people's designs and messed it up. The only design he came up with was the relocators. Then worse he tried to drag his friends and business partners into his mess as well.

All in all a real good showing of integrity and ethics.

Let this be a lesson for all of us, be very careful who you go into business with and who you choose as friends. I have learned my lesson many moons ago, I think other people have learned it now as well. We are never too old to learn or be too careful to make the same mistake again.

What is unfortunate is that a number of people has been affected by his dealings, directly and indirectly. And in the future it will just be so much more difficult for a new kid on the block to get their busines of the ground, because of this.

This is a reply posted to NE's forum. I know some of you think that this a waste of time. But it's a process that has to happen.....

Anthony,

This is being cross-posted to YT for posterity….

It’s not a bluff. That complaint was really sent to the NHTSA. I fully intend to follow up and continue to follow up until all of the complaints listed are addressed. This isn’t about lack of ethics. It’s about safety. You are selling lift kits that are, in my opinion, unsafe. Since I do not trust you to be the sole arbiter of whether they are safe or not, we’ll let my favorite uncle decide.

Now, as to your reply….

Grade 5 bolts are simple to identify. One look at the 307A bolts would have told anyone with even the slightest bit of knowledge that they were not grade 5. Since you shipped those bolts anyway, the only available conclusions are that you did not know what a grade 5 bolt looked like or that you did know what a grade 5 bolt looked like and chose to ship the 307A bolts anyway.

Spacers. The point made in the complaint is that neither you, nor likely anyone at NE has any experience creating molds or mixing a compound correctly in order to make the spacers. The material used is one area of concern. Another is that the mixture must contain the correct ratios for the different parts. Another is that it must be mixed thoroughly. Another is that it must cure properly. If any of these is off, the spacer material may be unstable and you would not know it until it failed. Just because none have failed yet is meaningless. It may not fail for a year or more. Nothing you’ve said or done convinces me that you have any knowledge regarding either the procedures above or the care to make sure those procedures are followed.

Relocs. Your statement that “relocs reinforce that area of sub frame and actually make it make it stronger than without them, in turn even strengthening the lower mount even though it is no longer used… Knock em all you want, you havent seen a set, enough said” is ludicrous. I HAVE seen a set. I have a set sitting in my living room. Judging from your stellar knowledge of grade 5 bolts, I’m guessing your knowledge of whether the subframe is strong enough for the relocs and shocks is less than ideal.

Sliders. The slider complains were based on what you posted at T4R.org. You stated there that the sliders were in production and showed them on your truck. And now you are saying that those aren’t the REAL sliders. That you have a new fabber. So I guess that means there was some false advertising going on at T4R? Showing pictures of one product and selling a different product? Anyway, I’m sure people will be glad to give the thumbs up or down to your new sliders once your new fabber gives you a set.

Again, the issue with the NHTSA is real. It isn’t about ethics. It’s only about safety. The safety of both your customers and anyone near them should your product fail. I have seen nothing from you to convince me that you care at all for the safety of your customers. If I may make a suggestion, why don’t you fold up shop, finish your schooling, get a real job, and maybe think about starting a different business at some point in the future. You don’t appear to be ready to start or run one now.

Better Business Bureau...

Has anyone affected considered filing a formal complaint(s) with the Better Business Bureau?? It worked surprisingly well for me. Resolved an issue I had with a local company in less than 2 weeks. Plus, a database entry is retained so future consumers can search for complaints against companies they may be considering.

(A complaint may need to be filed in the state NE is located, but I'm not sure.)

Just a thought....

Yes that's true, the BBB has worked well for me too. You do need to file with the office nearest his location, but that can be done via the web (sometimes) or fax.

Am I the only one that felt DIRTY as I read and clicked through the Nitro-BB?

That place reeks of ethics stink...

"Let's Do this Dr Nitro"

Unfortunately so long as NE and AK intend to continue business in this line, we will be forced to keep this up... I am sorry but it true. Every day a new person jumps onto the internet to look up something newly of interest to them, (new 4runner, buddy has a lift, whatever). Enough people show up that AK and NE could maintain a going business if the truth were not repeatedly freshened up.

On another note...how pathetic to host one's own..."we didn't do it BB!!"

And then to only answer with ...were getting that out right away...that post was good, come on...just pathetic.

NTSB If this is a serious safety hazard (defective equipment) then I would pass the word onto these guys.
