i haven't.
You should really use the splined studs and not bolts as the factory did. Daystar makes a 5cm stud that you can try to get from Wheelers. It's a 3rd Gen/1st Gen Tacoma part but chances are they did not change the top plate specs.

I have been thinking about buying a 4th gen lately. I always thought I would need a Tacoma for a work truck, but it seems that a 4th Gen with X-Res would be the way to go. And a V8. Enough of this 4Banger.

Of course I would keep the 99. That's a no brainer.

Just get the Daystar studs and bolts, they are pretty long. They can probably handle a 1 1/4" top spacer with ease. They fit properly as well. The only issue is that they are a bitch to put the whole strut assembly back in.

Wow... I JUST stumbled across this thread.. how the hell did I miss it! r0cky... am I sure glad I didn't keep buggin' NE about the R&D for 2nd gens... Yowza... that's some dirty business.. On the NE website you should still be able to get to the forum section even if the link is gone (if he hasn't erased it) by remembering the address to it... Anyway... I'm glad you aren't affiliated with them r0cky! Later! Hope to see you post again sometime!

They just sent me this email after I sent the relocs back (spacers had been returned and refund given already).

Herman-

Hey bud, got the relocs today, thanks for shipping those back to us.
Again we apologize that we were unable to work things out with you but
do appreciate you working with us in a timely manner. If you do decide to
go with a lift kit in the future from another company we would still love
to supply you with the re-locs as they truly are a must on an x-reas kit no
matter what is stated publicly. All other 4th gen spacer companies
still boldly state that their kits are NOT for x-reas rigs and have been
trying to work out a royalities deal with us on the reloc sales...where that
goes we may never know. Anyway, thanks again for living up to your words.
We had nearly 10 kits go on this past weekend and another 10 titan kits so
things are picking up big time now that we are finally ready for mass
production with perfect molds. Thanks again, take care.

NE Staff

Yeah, looks like they are still in business and planning business ventures with other companies! But then again, I'm not sure what is true or false anymore from this company.

how much clearance do you have with the 35's ? I think i would need to add the body lift to run that size tire.

That's the long and short of it. Buy the parts you need elsewhere and move on.

He not going to send you anything.

Well, as suspected it seems the first XREAS system got busted by NE lift kit. This guy seems very calm about having a very expensive suspension ˟˟˟˟ up.

Wonder if NE will step up and take care of him as they promise on their site???

Well he is probably 23 maybe 24 now, and will hope even more knowledge and deeper pockets

Daystar stepped up for me no questions asked to replace my top front spacers, a sign of a reputable company.

Let's see how this one turns out, but I think we both know how it will. BS and more BS, and then some more. Lets see if he pays for the guy's new suspension like he guarenteed and stated, still states on his website. Basically to fix the XReas cost the same as replacing it with coil-overs and rear components as well.
