Today while dealing with a customer concerning sliders (actually Friday-it's 1:58am Sat. morning here now) somehow this thread came up. I don't really ever get a chance to do much on any BB these days so I had no idea that this thread was here. Anyhow after I followed the link he had sent me I came over to this, and started reading, reading, and reading. I was amazed at the words written here but I was horrified when I saw my name come up- why is my name in here??? In a customer DISatisfaction thread!!!!!!!! Come awn.
I run a well respected business, and I truly care about my customers. It is not fair to me to have my business mentioned in a thread such as this. The complaints in here have absolutely nothing do with Stubbs Welding, and you dont see threads like this concerning us for good reasons.
To state this as simply as possible I will try to keep it short.
I do not build any products for Nitrous Enterprises.
NE had came to me to try to make the 4th gen bolt on, and I concurred thinking this was a great idea. Where things started to not seem good for me is when I got involved in defending the product sometime back in December. I should have known before hand that NE would not have the skills to defend itself simply because they are not metal fabricators/welders.
Now this was not they're fault but rather mine for not having the foresight to think of this as a potential problem beforehand. I never had any intentions to do anything other than build a product! This is why it was a tempting offer to me.
I dont blame anyone other than myself for it not working out. The lesson I learned here is that one must remember to take the time to think things through. I just said, "sure!". Not the right way to do anything, and normally not the way I operate.
Anthony nor Tracy (these are the only two people whom I dealt with) ever did anything directly or indirectly to make me unhappy with them on a personal level. They also promptly paid me for the work I had done- which I would have gladly declined. Anthony insisted on paying me which I thought was admirable seeing that I actually bailed out on them.
The reason it fell apart was basically the fact that there would have been way too much involvement on my side - much more than I had ever thought.
I was concerned about other things as well but it's all in the past for me.
Hope this clears up any misunderstandings,
Richard Stubbs

No worries guys whats done is done. I was pretty upset yesterday about this but today all is well. I don't cope very well when I think people might get the wrong idea about us. Maybe I need to learn how to blow things off alittle better.
Have a good weekend,
Richard

You have a very good reputation and anyone looking for fault could take your involvement out of context. I think you're justified in coming to your own defense.

Neither myself nor Richard have anything to do with NE. Nor do we want to.
Oh by the way, we have a 4th Gen drop Trac/PanHard bar. We just don't have any cores. If you want "YOUR" bar tweeked, drop me a line.

AK's back online over at NT, and he's taking shots at "something" that the moderators and owners of YT seemingly did to his machine. I figure this is what Corey referred to above.
Anyway... the saga continues:

That is beyond retarded.

This is just getting so funny. Why would anyone believe somebody that has done nothing but lie. Showed no ethics so far, and now suddenly say they are ethical.
I like Bob's earlier find about AK posting here with his superfast Tacoma or whatever lying through his teeth.
So what reason would anybody have to believe him??????
I would have liked to post pics of how the Hanna sliders mount, but unfortunately I'm not in the business of helping people to rip of somebody else. NE tried to rip of the design from Hanna after FT posted how the 80 sliders work. I guess they will try to do it again.
