Big Noise Manufacturing BNM 1st custom bumper! Give us feedback.

Hey I am new here to yotatech and was wanting some feedback on this bumper I am building. Kinda enjoy doing it and was thinking about possibly building some more and selling them. It is not finished. I plan on putting some shackle eyes and a set of 6" PIAA's in it as well. I think I will probably have it powder coated or maybe a bed liner coating. Not sure if this is where I should post this but I figure you can't mess up in the newbie section. Let me know what you think.

Here is what it looks like in the CAD program that I designed it in.

Mock up of the bumper to make sure it would fit snug around the grill.

Template waterjetted out

Sitting on there all bent up.

Welded up and checking out how Ill mount it on there.

I am in Klamath Falls right now going to school but I am moving soon either back to Astoria where I was raised or up to Seattle to work for Boeing.

I'm not sure just yet how much they would be. Once I get it all finished up all have a better idea. It will definitely be cheaper then like an ARB bumper. The reason I wanted to make one in the first place is because most are so pricey.

I love the idea of making it out of a single sheet of steel. Please post pics of how you mount it. You might consider selling the plans once it's done.

Very cool.

Cool, you must be going to OIT for engineering? I think that bumper looks killer, really good for being your first.

This one is just 1/4".. it is what I had left over from another project... I would make them out of 3/16 unless 1/4 was wanted..

I was thinking about that. You think many people would do that?
