Will 04 taco rims fit 04 4runner?

Will 04 taco rims fit 04 4runner?
I am looking at a set of Helo Maxx 6 rims in a 16x8 with BFG a/ts in a 265/75/16D they came off a 4door taco short bed I don't know the offset of the rims. I did some research at the local tire shops they didn't have a clue if they will fit or not but I heard that aftermarket 16in rims won't fit on a newer 4runner. If anybody can tell me more than these clods at the tire shop that would be great. Oh these rims and tires are used and in good condition and for 450 thanks for any input.
