The quick discos I made were from 1/2" bolts all the way around...

 

Is that the other side? Time to get bigger ones.

 

I snapped two heims on my Rockstompers despite judicious grease application.

It was not worth my time to continually protect them from rust when I was not using them on a weekly or even monthly basis in the rusty place.

Adrian, I haven't really needed to grease these as they still move freely (even in pieces). I drove it for a few days without the sway bar connected and it WAS noticable to me. I think my stock, old, tired T-bars are pretty flexible to be running without.

 

have any of you guys seen these disco's? you think they'd be worth the price? they seem pretty beefy.....

Was the thing that broke half inch grade 8?

 

These discos I bought were made with 3/8" rod ends. Doubtful if they were Grade 8 as they've broken under normal street driving. I've learned from this and will be coming up with my own design this summer.
