Suitable Recovery Points?

has anyone found a suitable way to put shackles on the front of an '03 4runner? i was told by a local 4x4 shop owner not to use the westin bracket that hold the bull bar. so i guess the frame is the only place suitable-but where?

you could take the bull bar off and or get shakles you could bolt to those same holes used to mount the bull bar. that would be a strong spot. usualy you would have hooks there for being towed
