Truthfully, both ideas came from what's at hand. RTV or white silicone bathtub caulk? What the hell RTV. Pink paint or go to the store and get a different color? I ain't afraid of pink, by no means, rather fond of it really(innuendo implied). What else am I gonna need this half can of pink spray paint I've got for? It's been needin' a good home, or truss.

EDIT:

How ya like me now!?

Turned out just like I wanted.

If there are 12 people we can do it again. I know how the game is played, so 6 pre-orders and I'll buy the steel, we all know there will be 6 post orders if folks can get it now.

I wish I could have gotten on this last batch. I went and measured the length I needed and when I was going to call Steve I opened the mail first and got hit with some medical bills. On next round I'm NOT opening the mail first! But I do plan to get in the next pre-order.

One question though... is ordering one of these: http://www.sonoransteel.com/store_mi...kup_panel.html

the same situation where you have to have 12 pre-orders?

I got an order from one to Norway. If I get a guy that is willing to pay twice what an American would for the truss and to get it there, I am going to make him one. So I found a short rem of the 3.5x3.5 tube.

I made him one and sent it to him. I also had someone pay when they were all gone on the last batch. I took care of him too.

So long story short, I have the tube to make 4 more right now. After that we'll have to see again.

No, that material is readily available and I can make one no problem.

I have one truss left (17") of this last Norway inspired Mini-Bath, this will be it until 2008 or 6+ people ready to buy.

So if you want one of these between now and 2008, this is the time to step up as I have one left, boxed and ready to ship.

All sold out. We will make more in a few months when 6-12 people wanting them build up again.

This has turned out to be a great thread...and that is what is great about this forum. You get exposed to products and information you might not otherwise ever come across.

What's the current situation with material for trusses/trusses in stock? Are you still planning on making a batch in the Nov/Dec timeline regardless of current inventory? I need the truss, but sometimes it takes a while to convince my wife of that fact; therefore, I'm hoping you still do the Nov/Dec run because I might have to wait until I have some Christmas cash.

I want one. I measured between mine today and it was 17 3/8. A little wider than most. Is this going to be a problem or will one of the two you have fit. If it will fit let me know and i will call u with a cc#.

Yes it will be a problem right now, all I have are pre-cut tubes fro 17". I can makes those shorter but not longer.

Next time I get a long stick of material in, watch these posts and order right away, but no I can not make one that long with what I have here right now.
