steve,

just sent you a PM for my order.

edit:

ok, guys 'n gals, i didn't read this thread till last night. i actually bought a Downey Truss a week ago. i tried to put it on but it doesn't fit, because the space between the 2 vertical arms on my rig is wider than the normal ones. i will keep the Downey truss for now and post a side by side report after i got the one steve makes.

Steve's truss looks much nicer than the Downey-Syndrome one.

So, after all that did I REALLY have the nerve to call Sonoran Steel today to place an order?

You betcha, all that for nothin'? Nope. Am I a dirty little ? I leave that to your discretion.

I really do take responsibilty for my actions, over-board is over-board. Can you say you've seen the fence that seperates the members and those who get the ? I don't consider it worth the effort now that I have. Those who missed out on the hilarity, trust me, it's a far better thing to have NOT been witness to. So, promising to keep his horse reined, this is MudHippy signing off.

PS, Check the sig. How do ya like them apples?

Hey, for all the editing I had to do in there, I told Steve to charge you a little extra for your truss.

One extra cent
Can ya handle the copper?

Ok all 12 are done. All plasma cut, ground and welded. Today I just have to drill the holes on the back side and clean them up a bit with the wire brush wheel, bill everyone and ship them.

10 are sold and there are 2: 17" ones left. I will not be making any more for a while, if you want one, my advice to you is step up right away and get one of these last 2. Assuming your truck measures out to 17", if not I don't have anything for you right now.

Next run is November/December 2007. When I have forgotten how much work these are.

All of the trusses from this batch have been sold. More will be made in Nov/Dec 2007 or when there are 12 people willing to pay right away.

Picked up my truss on Thursday and painted it and installed it Friday morning. Perfect fit. But then trail tested it yesterday on a Crown King Run. Couple scratches in the nice paint, but nothing else. Great job Steve.......

when you pick up the truss, does it come with the bolts and nuts? i received mine today but it's just the truss itself. i heard steve is out of town for a few days, otherwise i'd ask him.

if not, what size bolts and nuts i should buy?

thanks.

you provide hardware.

All you get is the truss.

Grade 8 bolts, 5/16" is what i used. I'm sure you could use just about any size that would fit.
