rear coil to leaf conversion question

Just toying around with the idea... What's all involved in converting the rear coils to leaf and a spring over? (leaf springs, shackles, hangers and new perches obviously) but what else? (ie. brake lines and such) Thanks for any info.....

Now the only question I can think of right now is with the shackle mounting, is it just a hole drilled through the frame, or is there some sort of bushing in there?

There is typically a shackle hanger welded beneath the frame for the rear, as shown on the page I posted a link to:



And there is typically a bushing inside the shackle hanger, unless you run something like a Johnny Joint hanger.
