quick disconnects

ive been looking around and have seen all off these articles on how to make your own set of sway bar quick discos. with most of them, i have a hard time following and was wondering if anyone had any input on homemades and have had any experience with them. i just want basic input on how they perform and detailed instructions on how to set them up (if you have the time to explain). i could probably figure out how to put them in but i would rather want to know what to do instead of going off the top of my head. thanks

Or just forget about them. I don't think they're worth the trouble, but then, I'm in the minority around here on that topic.

My opinion is no. However, the large majority here will disagree with that. Good luck, whatever you do.

hey man this is what i think... there are dudes out there that think sway bars are stupid, yea on the trail, screw em.... they do really help tho when you drive like a ricer. I think thats why i don't want to do a SAS on my DD... i like driving like a wild man on the street, being fast, agile, while stilll having the ability to rock house off road. I am definately planning on building myself a pair because i want to have those sway bars with my lifted runner thats heavy as , BUT will eventually have a SC and a computer chip... quick discos off the best of two worlds.... and just make sure you do plenty of reading. Reading multiple build threads on them and pulling the good from each one will help... its all about being patient when using yotatech. Theres a lot of information on here, and i've only really benefited because i'm deployed and my truck is on the other side of the world so its very hard not to slap on without thinkin about it. good luck in your decision tho brotha, stay up

Two things:

1) Good post

2) Keep your head down and get your butt home safe...some where a Yota needs a hug!

I bought a set of wabfab disco's and I've never unhooked them. And when I had them front and back the back pillowball ends would squeak if I didn't oil/greese them every week. The fronts never made any noise for some reason but the backs did.
