Pro Comp lift?

So i bought a 91 toyota pickup with extened cab about 4 weeks ago, i have been dying for a pickup for forever and always wanted a toyo. Now im at that crossroads where im thinkin about a suspension lift cuz we do quite a bit of offroading and well why not. The kit im looking at is the stage 2 pro comp kit with the es shocks. Now because im new to the four wheel drive world, i know import sport compacts inside and out, i need some insight on well the kit and the truck itself. Anything u guys have to offer would be great

Good choice. the Pro Comp stage II kit will have the 2 compression struts to really help with the strength of the lowered crossmembers.
and the ES3000 shocks work great with these pickups. the twin-tube design really comes in handy when you're out there and hit them on a rock or something. the can will dent in 1/4" before contacting the inner-tube.
i say go for it.
go on their website www.explorerprocomp.com and you can download a pdf file of the instructions.

ok, any ifs kit, other than a total chaos or long travel kit, wont get you flex, however, they do allow for bigger tires, clearance. procomp is a good company. get it learn your truck, soon enough youll want a SAS

Completely incorrect information.

Balljoint spacers net about 2" increase suspension travel.

The SuperLift kit 4-5" kit also nets about the same increase in travel due to the design of their drop brackets and bump stop extensions. I've installed one of these and it's the only IFS kit that I would install. The downfall is that it does not have the compression struts, but unlike pro-comp, it does have one-piece drop brackets.
