No more rear Rockware sag!!

Since I got my rear tire swing from rockware, i have noticed some sag out of my downey springs, they were fine until i put such a heavy bumper on and compounded it with a 285 MTR on the back, well...

Yesterday, finally got my 1" cornfed spacers installed into my rear DOWNEY springs. The question as to whether they would fit...is

YES, but look out.

The downey coil being beefier than stock (thicker in diameter) makes it very difficult to get the spacer to sit in the spring once the cones are removed. I paid $105 for them installed (1.5 hrs labor @ $70/hr) well worth the $$$$$. I have no spring compressor, not to mention the time it took to grind the top of the spring down and plenty of lube to get those suckers in there.

But the result is perfect. The sag I was experiencing is gone. Now the truck sits perfect, just the slightest touch higher in the rear, although it is almost visualy negliable. Anyway, the ride has been great, no additional top heavy sway to the cabin. I recommend this setup to anyone thinking about correcting rear sag.
