New idea for mounting wench....

OK, I have as the title says, what are your opinions on this idea? I could have the universal flatbed winch mount ( www. warn.com ) welded onto the bottom bar of my brush guard....

You mean like a beer wench? If this is possible somebody do a write-up so we can all do the Manik beer-wench mod!!

EDIT: Didn't mean to offend anyone. Just poking fun at the misspelling!

I'm pretty sure that isn't possible. You need some sort of winch mount, which brush guards don't have provisions for. Your best bet would be to get an ARB or a TJM, if you like the boxy style. Otherwise you could go with many other places that make tube bumpers. Just depends on what you like the look of.

yeah, you wont be able t okeep your current brushguard and mount a winch to it... there are some brushguards that allow for a winch though... warn trans4mer comes to mind, not sure if they make one for your truck though.....

anything is possible, but not without $

Do you have a link to that Warn Trans4mer? My wife doesn't want an ARB, she wants a brush guard so if I could mount a winch to it it would be a good compromise.
