Well here is the first of many performance mods.... 8lbs. of 100% locked furray.... Yukon Gears v6 spool. Got it from J.T Parts & Accessories for $129.97 US....

Now install it and then have it setup.... I'm going to install it in my daily for a while, but swap the thirds to my trail rig when it's done....

Regardless of the shpeling...looks good, albeit blurry....

Oh yeah,

 

When you install that thing you may want to grind 2 notches on each side so if you ever need to get the carrier bearings off you can do it with out destroying something. The bearings press on REALLY tight on most spools I have seen and there is almost no way to get them off once they are on. Have a look at the stock carrier and see where the 2 notches are that allow you to get a puller behind the bearing and duplicate it on the spool.

Awesome how that one cheap chunk of metal can completely transform the performance of your rig.

Install that thing commence to beating the sh$t out of your rig!
