Look what I just got....

Well here is the first of many performance mods.... 8lbs. of 100% locked furray.... Yukon Gears v6 spool. Got it from J.T Parts & Accessories for $129.97 US....

Here's a closer picture....

Now install it and then have it setup.... I'm going to install it in my daily for a while, but swap the thirds to my trail rig when it's done....

When you install that thing you may want to grind 2 notches on each side so if you ever need to get the carrier bearings off you can do it with out destroying something. The bearings press on REALLY tight on most spools I have seen and there is almost no way to get them off once they are on. Have a look at the stock carrier and see where the 2 notches are that allow you to get a puller behind the bearing and duplicate it on the spool.

I do have too much time. Its a sickness. If I drove a Ford, or Gm product, I would never have time for this site, since I would be outside wrenching all the damn time! lol
