distributor bearing
so after my 4runner caught fire i decided to just see if the bearing could just be replaced and with a little looking around and i ended up finding the right one, its a 10mm x 30mm x 9mm and for 6.95 plus 6.00 shipping it was on its way, so i took it all apart and installed the new bearing when it showed up 3 days later, and it worked... no need to go and buy a new distributor from toyota or anywhere else,
the bearing is from NationSkander california corp. this is the one i got....

ill post some pics of the new bearing installed a little later.

Wow. There was that much left of it? That's amazing!
So I take it you're just going to splice the connection to the engine harness since the connectors are both gone now? You could probably find suitable replacements for those too if you looked hard enough.
BTW, it should be noted that this is a distributor from an early 91 3VZ-E. Which is the older style w/pigtail connector. Not the newer style w/o a pigtail connector, used from 92(8/91) onward.

why you do not want to buy the original bearings? they are important for the functioning. I've never bought from NationSkander, but I read in the forums that you can find on this website http://www.omniabearings.com bearings of high quality and different sizes of them. But I do not know if they have an e commerce or a minimal amount of purchase, or try to contact them. I hope you have help from them.
