No fender trim. No tire rub (yet).

I'm going to try my best to make it to big bear.

I don't you think you can get any more backspacing than stock wheels...besides IMO that would be a bad idea.

If it were me, i'd get less backspaced wheels and trim accordingly.

I was running 285's, I ususally run 255's. I dont think the 255's would rub on the fender lip. I'm going to bend up the fender lip so its flat inside the fender.

It was bound to happen. That much up travel and that big of a tire.

Luckily, you have a couple of options. I have 1.5" wheel spacers and I don't rub at all. But I believe you still have more up travel. That grey runner had a good idea for teh rear fenders too. hmmmmm

How did it ride?

The ride is amazing. It handled really well. The rear end didnt buck at all and stayed planted in the whoop sections. The rear shocks need a bit more compression valving though.

Oh yeah, its also rubbing on the inside of the fender too. Guess i'll have to cut out the wheel wells.

DO IT!

Might as well take the whole bed off (in your case cut the cab in half!)

Note: It is illegal to drive in the state of CA without mud flaps if your tires are sticking out.. We now trailer my truck.

Pinnacle, have you checked out the fender trimming done by Bandit on Pirate? Seems like it would be perfect to solve your problems.

I'm glad there is a wealth of info available for this kind of setup for a 4runner now. When I was trying to figure this out, I had to bug Pinnacle for info on pics of a grey one I had seen. hahaha

Pinnacle, you didn't make it out to Big Bear.....you better come down to ocotillo with us.....
