lockright locker

I'm new here , but my question is has anyone put in a lockright in there rear end and if so how hard is it? I own a 90 4runnerand bought the locker ,but have never put one in before.

I would think that you should work up to something as large and irregularly shaped as Lockright. Go slowly and use plenty of lubrication and I am sure you can put just about anything in your rear end that you have a mind to...

If you are reasonably mechanically inclined, installing a Lockright is not a big deal. Since it can be installed into your stock carrier without having to re-set up the gears, the install is within reach of the average casual mechanic.

If you are comfortable doing your brakes yourself, then you can do the Lockright install, just follow the instructions carefully.

seriously though...its not that hard, do a search on 4x4wire for a lockright install they have step by step instructions with pictures
