I wouldn't bother with the bracket - just get lower profile snubbers. Because of the angle, just a little difference near the pivot on the bumpstop will add a lot of travel at the wheel.

Something like this:

That bump stop drop bracket is designed into your lift to protect the components. If it wasn't necessary, they wouldn't include them with all bracket lift kits. I had those before too.

Lower profile bumps will increase4 travel a bit (Maybe an inch at the wheel?) but they are not soft and cause harsher bottoming out. If you want more travel, add a balljoint spacer to your kit.

If you shorten or remove those bumpstops, your a arms will be allowed to go up farther. Your CV can handle it, but your lower arm may hit the frame if you go to far. The biggest issue is what are you losing in expense of travel. When you bottom out now, the bottom of the crossmember would be parallel with your arms. If you allow for more up travel, your crossmember is just getting closer and closer to the ground.

So, you'll be trading travel for ground clearance. Just a thought.
