Question Eaton G80 MLocker for Toyotas?

I talked to the Eaton tech and they said they don't have anything that acts like a G80 for any Toyota. My question is: Does anyone know of a differential like the MLocker (Complete locking when a wheel spin difference is sensed) that would fit in the 7.5" front diff?

Don't think anything such is available. I don't think that even GM puts anything like G80 in front axles. Lockers in steering axles can be problematic.

One of the best alternative front carriers for street driven Toyotas is the Detroit Truetrac torsen type carrier.

It is not a true locker, it is a posi type carrier that uses a helical gear drive with no clutches to wear out. I have them in two of mine.

There are any number of true locking carriers and 'lunchbox' lockers for 7.5in, but their on pavement manners are not the best.

As of now I'm looking at the TrueTracks as my next best thing. The only problem is I want to have traction when I lift a tire. I am not too concerned about the steering because it will only be locked when wheeling. I do like the safety of having an open diff when driving in 4x4 on icy highways too so I can't go with auto locking diffs

I believe Harrop has an e-locker for the 7.5" Toyota front diff.

The G80 doesn't fully lock when wheelspin is detected. It is an open with a small difference in wheelspeed and a clutch type limited slip when a large difference in wheelspeed is detected.

For all intents and purposes it locks the axle. Yes, it uses clutches, but once engaged it behaves much more like a locked axle than a LSD.

Not when you have a wheel in the air. I've wheeled with S10's/Sonomas and when they lift a wheel they lose drive. Even with throttle applied.
