Is this DANGEROUS? (Pic)
OKay I just installed my LC coils with my daystar spacers and things are crammed. The ride is awesome though.
I got pissed off and I couldnt get the coil to rotate into the cup correctly. Is this dangerous? Will it seat itself ? Is it okay to drive for the time being?
Notice the bottom coil is sitting on top of the area where it is supposed to be seated.

Thanks.

I can't imagine trying to get longer springs AND spacers in there! The problem is that even with shocks disconnected the stock rear control arms bind up before the axle droops very far. Your best bet is to get your heaviest friend and have them stand/jump on the rear brake drum while you put the spring in.

Lol, It was a pain the A-hole to get them in!!!!
Thats why I got lazy and didnt want to deal with it anymore.
I disconnectd my shocks, swaybar and just let the axle droop down to the ground pretty much. (Very scary). Luckily I have the 24" steel brake line so there wasn't any problems with lack of slack. Although my ABS lines needed to be disconnected in the end.
I think I'll disconnect my panhard bar before going any further. I couldnt get my axle to drop fully with it connected.
Yeah, the rear needs some work. I am a dumbass and I havent gotten a panhard drop bar from Schaefer yet. My axle is all twisted up right now. Luckily I dont drive much, so I will just try to save some money up and buy a modified bar here soon.
The front TM lift is really nice with the gabreil struts. I loose a little ground clearance under the front diff, but, right now it is actually riding close to stock.
I will be removing the body lift soon as well, but, that means I have to cut off the sliders and re-weld them.
Ill post some pictures.

Oh yeah, Ive already got them. I couldnt get the coils in w/o them! They are just a pain when they are on the truck. Trying to get them off with the impact wrench is a btich.

i hear that....trying to get coil compressors off is a MF back there.
Taking off your panhard (one end) will give you more room to "move"
looking good!

Sheesh... It was terrible getting my FZJ80 coils in... I hate those kinds of spring compressors... we used them and could barely get them off when we were done. My springs actually sit like that also. It didn't dawn on me until we werei finished
