Bent or Straight front housing.
Hey is there any way to determine if a front housing is bent just by looking at it??? the bare housing, no knuckles, no 3rd....

If not, how would I go about confirming that it is straight??

Help !!

I can tell ya how to bend one, does that help.

Stringline through the inside and take some measurements in the diff housings.

"Jig bar". I took the housing to a rear end shop, they inserted this bar through the housing that seated tight against the axle seal seats, took a few measurements. All is good.

Nice.. You can do the same thing with a string line, just a little more tedious.
Glad its not bent.

Even if it was bent, minis arent impossible to straighten. Just add patience.
