add a leafs from a chevy?
hey sorry i dont know if this is the right forum for this but i got some add a leafs from this guy and i was wondering if they would work on my truck i think there for a chevy, i googled the part number (FT20024) and it popped up with a chvy but would they fit and work on my 85 pickup? and if so would it lift it all crazy...any help would help thankss...

Measure the length and width and see how that would work with your springs. Likely they are about 1/8" wider, so might be an issue with the stock u-bolts, if you still run those. But measure and see. Also see how thick they are, there are basically 2 types of AALs, one is long and thin (these are the desirable kind) and the other are short and/or thick, these are not desirable ad they are very stiff and may cause your existing spring leaves to bend over the ends of the stiffer AAL.

there 2.5 inch wide but there almost as long as the factory leaf spring but there long and thin, they look like they have a good arch to them , the AAL is at my GFs house right now but are leaf AAL pretty much them same for all like universal

Well, you need to see if the width will fit and on the length, see how that works with the existing leaves, spring clamps, etc. In general, an AAL is somewhat universal, but is typically designed to fit into some existing spring pack, which determines the width, length, thickness and stiffness. If those dimensions happen to fit another spring pack, then you can probably use it.
