Hey guys..... Im getting ready to purchase a high pinion front for my 85 runner. I run 5.29 R&P w/ 4.7 single Tcase, 35 inch tires and mostly stock 22RE. My question is , do you guys think it is worth the 500 some odd dollars to put the 30 spline shafts in while its apart?

I got a older model used longfield 27 spline birfields, no problems and lifetime warranty. My buddy ran same setup with 37's for years with no issues. I got mine for $110 shipped with stock inners.

 

30 spline longfields? I did. with 36" tires. probably overkill but i thought they were close in price to the 27's. and rated for more torq.
